Content Costa Toscana Cruise

Crossroads of peoples and cultures, the Tuscan Coast is a treasure trove of testimonies and civilisations that, through the centuries, have made this land unique and famous throughout the world. The beauty of the landscapes and nature, from unspoiled beaches to countryside dotted with vineyards and cypress trees, the archaeological remains, medieval villages, monuments and museums, and the culinary and winemaking tradition, are elements that distinguish the entire area, from the hills to the sea, from the coastline to the islands of the Archipelago.
Infused with colours and harmonies, the Tuscan Coast was the birthplace of painters such as Amedeo Modigliani and musicians such as Pietro Mascagni, who carried the genius and knowledge of this ancient land out into the world, a land that still today offers intense emotions.
This territory, where ingenuity, beauty and art have found a home for centuries, is a destination for travellers of every era, famous thanks to the sense of hospitality of its people, ready to welcome tourists from all over the world with a wide choice of accommodation facilities, excellent tourist services, efficient road, rail, port and airport infrastructure, and convenient connections with the nearby islands and the art cities of Tuscany: Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena.
To encourage incoming tourism and its development, in particular cruise tourism, along the Tuscan coastline, Costa Toscana Cruise was born from the meeting between Porto Livorno 2000 and the Consorzio Strada del Vino e dell'Olio Costa degli Etruschi, with the support of the Livorno Chamber of Commerce and the Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale, under the patronage of the Municipality and the Province's Tourism Department.
In addition to giving visibility to the port facilities and the services offered, Costa Toscana Cruise promotes tourist itineraries that showcase the history, nature and culture of this territory.
